Bar BQ Tomato Lemon Chicken Wings
These chicken wings are tangy.
When I was a child
barbequed chicken was always done the same way, with
a basting of lemon and melted butter. They often got
singed by the drippings of both baste and chicken
fat, but they always tasted excellent as I recall.
Requires a barbeque.

Recipe 12:
Recipes /
Bar BQ Tomato Lemon Chicken Wings
1 lb (about 16 wings) fresh organic chicken wings
½ cup organic tomato sauce, reduced
1 large clove organic garlic
2 T organic butter, melted
1-2 organic lemons (2 if juice only is used)
3 dashes organic thyme
3 T organic honey
½ tsp sea salt, to taste
cayenne pepper, to taste
In a large bowl:
Marinate chicken briefly to coat.
Barbeque, turning and basting frequently, about
20 minutes or until thoroughly cooked.
Enjoy.
Another much simpler barbequed chicken recipe is
the lemon and butter baste mentioned above. Simply
melt a couple of tablespoons of butter and combine
with the juice and/or pulp of a lemon. Then baste
the chicken while on the barbeque.

Really really good.
