Keep Current On The Web
Featured Publication Waiting...... for the 6 o'clock news? ......or the paper?   Again?   You may not have to wait to get the latest headlines, sports scores and story updates.   Just go on the web.   Information is available and is updated much more frequently than other media.
Much information in the way of news exists on the web in the form of video and audio broadcasts or clips, pictures, and text.   This would be amazing in itself, given that a few years ago computers were not thought to be much good at anything except standalone word processing.   The introduction of networking and the development of the Graphical User Interface (GUI) and streaming media have together brought about the beginning of a new era in information exchange.
Now you can get the headlines practically as the stories develop, with updates from newsburst columns on the web occurring many times in one day.   For sports fans, this is good because it means that they can get, for example, 1st quarter stats for the Super Bowl on their computer a few scant minutes (or seconds) after the quarter ends, and if you don't believe me just try it.   On the World Series website in October I watched my browser to see little men standing on little bases.
