Choosing An Internet Provider
The Bottom Line
Featured Publication You may be amazed at the choices you have when it comes to choosing an ISP.   Better to be amazed than overwhelmed, but focussing on your needs should help.   Remember, the bottom line is the price you pay for any service.
Need should dictate whether to incur any ongoing expense, and this is true also of Internet Services, such as provided by an ISP (Internet Service Provider).   This is because the bottom line is cost.   You get what you pay for, but do you use it?
Make sure you are paying for services you actually use, whether it be email, an hourly rate account, or web page services.   Block accounts are useful for sporadic use.   Some ISP's are AOL, MSN, Bell, Prodigy, as well as local independents.
