Micah 4
1But it will certainly come to pass in the final part of the times, that the mountain of the house of Jehovah will be established on the height of the mountains, and it will be exalted above the hill, and peoples will gush to it.

2Mighty nations will go and say: Come! We shall go up to the mountain of Jehovah, and to the house of the God of Jacob, and he will direct us from his ways, and we shall march in his byways. So out of Zion Law (Hebrew = Torah) will go forth, and the word of Jehovah out of Jerusalem.

3He will judge between mighty peoples, and decide between mighty nations yet far away. Their swords they shall smite into plowshares, their spears into pruning shears. A nation shall not lift up sword to another nation, nor shall they keep goading war.

4A man will marry with an intertwining as of the vine with the fig tree, and nothing will be causing anxious care, for the word of Jehovah will do away with warfare.

5For all the people act in the name of their own god. We act in the name of Jehovah our God, from ancient times to time everlasting.

6``At that particular time,'' says the oracle of Jehovah, ``I shall restore the limping one, and the exiled one I shall collect together, also her whom I have afflicted.

7``I shall consider the limping one as a remnant, and the exiled one as a mighty nation, and Jehovah will rule over them upon the mountain of Zion from this time-- for everlasting.

8``You, the flower of the flock, tower of the daughter of Zion-- as far as you it will come. The ruling power of the beginning of the kingdom will come to the daughter of Jerusalem.''

9Whereas why are you crying out to the king? Is there not in you counsel to perish while the pains of childbirth have seized you?

10Writhe and bring forth a daughter of Zion as a woman giving birth, because now they are to go forth from the city to live in the field, and they will come as far as Babylon. There they shall be safe and from there Jehovah will redeem you from the hands of your enemies.

11But at this time will be gathered in you populous nations whose sayings are profanity, and in whose visions have their eyes upon Zion.

12But they are not knowing the purpose of Jehovah, nor the plan, for they gather as grain to the threshing floor.

13Get up and thresh, daughter of Zion, because your horn is given as iron and your hooves as copper. You will crush populous nations, and you will devote to Jehovah their unjust gain by destroying it, and likewise their army to the Lord of all the earth.

Micah 4 1
But in the latter days it shall come to pass, that the mountain of Jehovah`s house shall be established on the top of the mountains, and it shall be exalted above the hills; and peoples shall flow unto it.
Micah 4 2
And many nations shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of Jehovah, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths. For out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of Jehovah from Jerusalem;
Micah 4 3
and he will judge between many peoples, and will decide concerning strong nations afar off: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning-hooks; nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.
Micah 4 4
But they shall sit every man under his vine and under his fig-tree; and none shall make them afraid: for the mouth of Jehovah of hosts hath spoken it.
Micah 4 5
For all the peoples walk every one in the name of his god; and we will walk in the name of Jehovah our God for ever and ever.
Micah 4 6
In that day, saith Jehovah, will I assemble that which is lame, and I will gather that which is driven away, and that which I have afflicted;
Micah 4 7
and I will make that which was lame a remnant, and that which was cast far off a strong nation: and Jehovah will reign over them in mount Zion from henceforth even for ever.
Micah 4 8
And thou, O tower of the flock, the hill of the daughter of Zion, unto thee shall it come, yea, the former dominion shall come, the kingdom of the daughter of Jerusalem.
Micah 4 9
Now why dost thou cry out aloud? Is there no king in thee, is thy counsellor perished, that pangs have taken hold of thee as of a woman in travail?
Micah 4 10
Be in pain, and labor to bring forth, O daughter of Zion, like a woman in travail; for now shalt thou go forth out of the city, and shalt dwell in the field, and shalt come even unto Babylon: there shalt thou be rescued; there will Jehovah redeem thee from the hand of thine enemies.
Micah 4 11
And now many nations are assembled against thee, that say, Let her be defiled, and let our eye see [our desire] upon Zion.
Micah 4 12
But they know not the thoughts of Jehovah, neither understand they his counsel; for he hath gathered them as the sheaves to the threshing-floor.
Micah 4 13
Arise and thresh, O daughter of Zion; for I will make thy horn iron, and I will make thy hoofs brass; and thou shalt beat in pieces many peoples: and I will devote their gain unto Jehovah, and their substance unto the Lord of the whole earth.
