After believing in an idea for a while, just long enough to see its many benefits or deficiencies, we may then return to our prior beliefs and find that we like them equally well. This is a possible result of our studies, but then we may dig deeper into each side, until one or the other proves true, or until we are satisfied.

  So, for a moment, then, believe that you have never heard any theory about how man came to be, or about the purpose of life. Now you may begin to study the Bible with an open mind.
